My name is Martha Waranowski, and I love helping people feel really good.  I received my massage training at New England Academy of Sciences in Nashua, NH and have been licensed (NH license #1189M) since 1997.  To renew our licenses, we are required to take continuing education classes, and over the years I have learned a number of techniques and modalities.   Those that have most influenced my work are:

• Compassionate Touch: I am a certified Compassionate Touch practitioner.  Compassionate Touch is described as a hands-on complementary approach for those in elder care, hospice and palliative care.  It combines one on one focused attention, intentional touch and sensitive massage with specialized communication skills to help enhance quality of life for those in later life stages.

• Geriatric massage:  I am certified in geriatric massage by Day-Break Geriatric Massage Institute

• Reiki:  I am a Reiki Master (level 4).  Reiki is a non-invasive, hands-on (or almost-on) energy technique that is helpful in helping the body to heal itself.  It is usually received fully clothed, lying down, and leaves the receiver feeling very relaxed. 

• CranioSacral Therapy:  I have studied CranioSacral Therapy levels 1 & 2 with the Upledger Institute.  CranioSacral Therapy works gently with the central nervous system to support self-healing. 

I live with my husband and our cat.  We have three wonderful grown sons and two wonderful daughters-in-law.
